Guess who’s back for the season? Fall veggies! We’re excited to see our first batch of fall veggies in the greenhouse.
You can pick up broccoli, cabbage, beans, and arugula. Because we’re still seeing warmer temperatures, it is advantageous to keep your fall veggie starts out of the afternoon sun until temperatures cool down. You’ll also want to keep a diligent eye on watering to make sure they do not dry out.
Our fall veggie “Pick of the Week” is the Contender bean plants! They are perfect for our green bean lovers. This particular bean matures early in the season and freezes well! You can enjoy your harvest long after the plant has left your garden.
