Purple Creeping Jenny
Botanical name: Tradescantia fluminensis ‘Purple’
This trailing perennial is grown for its foliage; lovely leaves of gray green and pink, with deep pink reverses; low maintenance, and excellent for indoor containers or baskets.

Purple Creeping Jenny's attractive pointy leaves emerge purple, turning grayish green in color with curious hot pink undersides throughout the year. The flowers are not ornamentally significant.
This is an herbaceous evergreen houseplant with a spreading, ground-hugging habit of growth. Its relatively fine texture sets it apart from other indoor plants with less refined foliage. This plant may benefit from an occasional pruning to look its best.
Planting and Growing
When grown indoors, Purple Creeping Jenny can be expected to grow to be about 14 inches tall at maturity, with a spread of 14 inches.
