Common Name: Indian Pink

Botanical name: Spigelia marilandica

A clump-forming, native perennial that naturally occurs in moist woods and along stream banks. Produces brightly colored trumpet-shaped, red flowers, each flower is yellow inside and forms a yellow star. Blooms spring through early summer. It will die back in fall/early winter and will emerge the following spring!
